Merina B.

Merina knew she wanted to work with animals her whole life. Merina spent the early years of her undergrad pursuing engineering, graphics, and design before switching to her true passion, animal care. In 2017, Merina graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky with her bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology. Merina spent her senior year interning at a small animal general practice, where she was later hired on as a veterinary assistant and kennel attendant. In February 2018, Merina moved from Kentucky to Minnesota to join the St. Paul Pet Hospital team. In April 2018, Merina passed her board exam and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. As a part of the SPPH team, meeting the clients and their pets is what Merina enjoys the most!
